Elephant with Ballons Birthday Card

Hello fellow scrappers happy Monday! We have a simple super cute B-day card to share with you! Today's Project is was made by Angel from Cajun Angel's Crafts.

I love making Birthday cards, Here is a simple but adorable card with a little elephant holding balloons. I really love this card as its GREEN my favorite color!

This little card is was created using Miss Kate Cuttables cutting file Birthday Elephant. I used a .05 fine point black pen to draw stiches around the elephant, and glossy accents on the balloons to make them pop!

The buttons on it came from a garage sale!

I used black, green and white card stock from Recollections card stock packs. I love the idea of turning the squares.

For the wording I used my silhouette sketch pens and my silhouette cameo.

I hope ya'll enjoyed my project, follow our blog or check back to see the up coming projects we have few really neat projects coming to start the new year off right!

Day 1 Christmas Song Projects: I'm Dreaming of a white... Beach!

Happy Tuesday! We have a week of exiting posts We are kicking off our Week of Christmas Song Projects.  Our first one is from Angel with Cajun Angels Crafts!

My project today consists of a few of the same files from my slider card from our previous post on 12/18/14. This card is Just Beachy! hehe It's a fun birthday card for a co-worker who doesn't like sharing her birthday with the holidays!

To start off I used orange card stock for the base of the card, it measures 6in by 9in, and is scored at 4.5in. The middle layer is white card stock 5.75in by 4.25in.  The top layer measures 5.5in by 4in. (top layer is paper from Recollections All Seasons paper pad)

For the adorable cutting files I used Miss Kate Cuttables cutting files:

the layering takes some work but so very worth it! The sea horse is about 2.5in by 1.5 in and the starfish is about 2.5in by 2.5. The Just Beach is approx 5.25in by 3in (when put together). I don't how small ya'll go for layering but for me the smaller the better!

For the inside the circle diameter is 4in. The saying is Super fun and i got if from a card I received a few years ago.

the circle is inked in Tim Holtz Distress ink Faded Jeans.

The cute little shells on the inside are from Miss Kate Cuttables as well, they are from the Cute Seashell cutting file.

I hope you enjoy my project. I love all the colors it makes me wanna go to the beach! (a warm beach!) Check Back tomorrow for Day 2!

Boy/Girl Fox card

It's Finally Friday *Phew* we made it! Here is the latest project from our designer Cajun Angels Crafts. What would the fox say? CUTE!!

I'm very excited about this card I have been playing with this file for some time. Its very simple and interchangeable! I love using my Silhouette Cameo Designer Software and seeing just how far I can go. I used the designer software to edit the files a bit and I think my hard work paid off, what do you think?

Like, comment and share our blog, thank you!

For this card I used Miss Kate Cuttables files: Baby Fox, the trees from Cabin, and Welcome to the Zoo's welcome sign.

I used the designer software from silhouette cameo to create font for the names engraved on the wood, and using the offset tool I created a boarder and a card. Offset is wonderful for creating around but also can inset as well, that's how I made the inside of the card!

I love to make their little noses pop so I added Inkssentials Glossy accents to fill it in.

Changing it to the girl fox was super simple: I added a bow from a previous file I created, added a jewel from a set I got at Michaels, and what girl isn't complete without eyelashes?? I used a sharpie marker thin point to draw then in.

The finishing touch for a girl is always a ribbon, I added a simple brown bow on the inside.

I hope you enjoyed todays project!
