Design Team Weekly Challenge: Clover Cuties Moose

What are ya'll up to on this fine Sunday? We are crafting (as usual!) Today we have our 3rd project from our Clover Cutie flies! Todays project comes from Mickel!

I made a framed picture that I can place on my curio cabinet for my first project!

All of the cardstock I used was from Bazzill.  The colors were Granny Smith, white, black, aqua and dotted Greenbriar.  The patterned paper is from American Crafts and is from The Color of Memories collection.

I absolutely love this paper piecing and can't wait to use it on a few more things!

I also used Ranger Stickles on my blue and the green outline.  The colors I used were Waterfall and Lime Green.

I had help from my soon to be 6 year old, Garrett in creating this.  He helped with gluing and with putting the paper into my silhouette cameo! I really hope you enjoy my project as much I enjoyed making it!!!

Design Team Weeklt Challenge: Clover Cuties turtle

Happy Saturday! It's one of my favorite days to craft! Today we have Shavon's Project:

My project for today is a scrapbook page layout!

I used paper from the paper loft and embellishments kit that came in a goodie bag from the 2014 CKC in Charlotte,NC.

With card stock and my cameo I cut out this cutie, Clover Cutie Turtle.  I used washi tape and mono tombow glue from Stampin' Up to hold everything in place!

Once I got this file and saw this cute little guy I thought about our trip long ago to Florida where we saw a turtle exhibit and learned about a turtle habitat. I decided to use him on the 1st page of the layout to introduce us to his life.

Vinyl Projects: Monogrammed Gloves

Sunday Fun day! Did everyone get what they wanted for Christmas? Well no matter what you got I hope you got to spend it with loved ones. We were blessed to be with our families. Today's project is by Angel from Cajun Angel's crafts.

So for Christmas I got HTV (Heat transfer Vinyl) just in time for my moms birthday! I made Monogrammed gloves for her.

It was my first time using HTV I was defiantly nervous. Santa didn't bring a heat press, but I used my Iron and it worked out great!

I used the Marley Lilly app to make the monogrammed initials, but the font can be bought from fontbros its called vine.

The gloves came from Walmart the are polyester with fux fur. They cost $3 on sale.

I hope you enjoyed my project check back for more fun creations!

Todays project is by Angel from Cajun Angel's Crafts. Its also a New release day! Sneak peak, The Reign Deer from our Arctic Cuties set. (coming soon)

It's Christmas and I've heard from a relievable source that Santa is back at the north pole and presents are under the trees, so I made this adorable Santa and his sleigh card!

Here's our Sneak Peak!

This card was made using the Santa Reign Deer and Sack SVG cutting file from 3Craftateers vault of goodies. (hehe)

Here he is cut out and all inked up! I used Tim Holtz Distressed ink Barn door to ink around his coat, and Exclusive Inks garnet to ink: the sack, the reindeers body and his hoofs/antlers.

I love how this card came out, Who doesn't love a reindeer dressed like Santa?

the sleigh card base was a free svg file from Bird's Cards Santa Sleigh. They have tons of free files and digi stamps!

Day 1 Christmas Song Projects: I'm Dreaming of a white... Beach!

Happy Tuesday! We have a week of exiting posts We are kicking off our Week of Christmas Song Projects.  Our first one is from Angel with Cajun Angels Crafts!

My project today consists of a few of the same files from my slider card from our previous post on 12/18/14. This card is Just Beachy! hehe It's a fun birthday card for a co-worker who doesn't like sharing her birthday with the holidays!

To start off I used orange card stock for the base of the card, it measures 6in by 9in, and is scored at 4.5in. The middle layer is white card stock 5.75in by 4.25in.  The top layer measures 5.5in by 4in. (top layer is paper from Recollections All Seasons paper pad)

For the adorable cutting files I used Miss Kate Cuttables cutting files:

the layering takes some work but so very worth it! The sea horse is about 2.5in by 1.5 in and the starfish is about 2.5in by 2.5. The Just Beach is approx 5.25in by 3in (when put together). I don't how small ya'll go for layering but for me the smaller the better!

For the inside the circle diameter is 4in. The saying is Super fun and i got if from a card I received a few years ago.

the circle is inked in Tim Holtz Distress ink Faded Jeans.

The cute little shells on the inside are from Miss Kate Cuttables as well, they are from the Cute Seashell cutting file.

I hope you enjoy my project. I love all the colors it makes me wanna go to the beach! (a warm beach!) Check Back tomorrow for Day 2!

Motorcycle Birthday Card

Cards! I love cards! (Especially Birthday cards) I have few friends and family members that have Birthdays this time of the year. Some of them like it others feel the Holidays steal the spot light. What do ya'll think? would you want a birthday so close to Christmas?

Here is my project for today, it's a super cool motorcycle card. In scrapbooking there aren't a lot of guy/boy cards out there, and I have to admit its a little out of my comfort zone but I really got into the grove and had a good time making this card!

I really like how this card came out!. I used a sheet of skeleton paper from DCMC paper pad. The back ground is orange card stock.

The card size is 5x4.25in and the skeleton paper is offset by .25

The cutting file is Motercycle from Miss Kate Cuttables. I inked the silver parts with Tim Holtz distressed ink, black soot and the orange pieces and flame are inked with barn door distressed ink by Tim Holtz.

The light accents around the seat and wheels and on the metal where done with Recollections marker pen snow.

Well that's my project! I hope you enjoyed it, subscribe to get emails of our post for future projects. Until next time happy scrapping everyone!

MKC 2015 Design Team Project: Just Beachy

Hey everyone! Angel here with a fun project I created for the Miss Kate Cuttables 2015 Design Team Call.

My project for the challenge is an underwater slider card! It's my first attempt at a slider card and I think it came out way cutter then I had imagined. I love these cute files!

The shape of the card is large scallop I found an image online and traced it. The card is about 7.5in by 7in. The in side circle is about 4in in diameter.

I had a hard time narrowing down which cute little sea critters I was going use so, I used them all. lol I love the big eyes don't you?

For this car I used:

For the  title I used Just Beachy.

The sentiment came from a beach card, and I used my Silhouette Cameo font to dress it up!

I used Indian corn blue by exclusive inks to ink around the edges.

The most fun was making the actual slider! I put the puffer fish and jelly fish on pennies with the foam dimensional stickers from Stampin' Up! This allows them to slide around the card and in circles.

Well that's my project I hope you enjoyed it! Subscribe and check back for future projects. Till next time happy crafting everyone!
